WARRANTY

All our pieces come with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering exclusively manufacturing defects or structural flaws in the material. Included in the warranty:

 

• Plates detached from brass parts due to assembly defects.

• Brass rods broken due to structural flaws in the material.

• Pieces with silver solder that have become unsoldered due to manufacturing defects (Models: Amore, Valencia, Sucré).

• Any manufacturing defect that compromises the stability or functionality of the piece.

In these cases, we arrange collection via courier and, after evaluation, the piece will be repaired or replaced within approximately 1–2 weeks of its arrival at our workshop. If repair is not possible, a replacement with an identical or equivalent piece will be offered.

 

Not included in the warranty:

• Breakage of glass plates (replacement may be requested).

• Rods bent or deformed due to misuse, improper handling, or overloading.

• Base stone broken or cracked due to impacts or falls.

• Damage to the electrostatic varnish resulting from the use of abrasive or corrosive products (solvents, ammonia, bleach, industrial degreasers, metal scouring pads, etc.).

• Wear and tear from normal use or the passage of time.

• Damage caused by transport not handled by Caitanadas.

 

Warranty Activation Procedure:

To process a claim, the customer must send an email to info@caitanadas.com including the following:

 

1. Order number or proof of purchase.

2. Clear photographs of the damage.

3. Brief description of the problem.

 

Once the claim has been assessed, we will confirm whether repair, replacement, or a quote is appropriate.

 

Repair of Out-of-Warranty Items

The cost of a repair depends on the condition of the item, the underlying problem, and the scope of the work. A quote will be provided after the item has been evaluated. The repair will only be carried out once the customer has expressly approved the estimate.

 

CARE OF THE PIECES

All our pieces are manufactured in-house and assembled by hand, using high-quality materials such as high-hardness brass, glass plates with a scalloped edge, and unique natural stones like onyx, marble, and granite.

 

About the Brass

All brass pieces have an electrostatic varnish applied and cured at 180º, which protects the finish and maintains its shine without the need for polishing. This treatment is similar to that used on high-quality faucets and hardware. Thanks to this finish:

• The brass does not rust.

• It does not require polishing products.

• It should not be polished.

Recommended cleaning:

• Use a soft, dry cloth for regular maintenance.

• If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth.

• Dry immediately after cleaning.

 

Avoid:

• Aggressive chemicals.

• Scoiling pads, abrasive fibers, or polishes.

• Prolonged exposure to humidity or saline environments.

 

Regarding glass plates:

 

• Handle with care.

• Do not subject to sudden temperature changes.

• Clean with neutral glass cleaner and a soft cloth.

• The plates are dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing.

 

Regarding natural stone bases:

• Each stone is unique and has natural variations.

• Clean with a damp cloth.

• Avoid acidic products.

• Do not subject to impacts.
