WARRANTY & CARE

All our pieces come with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. It covers only manufacturing defects or structural failures of the material.

Covered by the warranty:

A plate that has come loose from the brass piece due to an assembly defect.
A brass rod that has broken due to a structural failure of the material.
Silver-soldered pieces whose joints have come apart due to a manufacturing defect (models: Amore, Valencia, Sucré).
Any manufacturing defect that affects the stability or functionality of the piece.

In these cases we arrange collection by courier. After assessment, the piece will be repaired or replaced within approximately 1–2 weeks of reaching our workshop. If repair is not possible, we will offer a replacement with an identical or equivalent piece.

Not covered by the warranty:

Broken glass plates (replacements can be requested).
Rods bent or deformed through misuse, incorrect handling or excessive weight.
Stone bases broken or cracked due to knocks or falls.
Damage to the electrostatic lacquer caused by abrasive or corrosive products (solvents, ammonia, bleach, industrial degreasers, steel wool, etc.).
Wear resulting from normal use or the passage of time.
Damage caused by transport not arranged by Caitanadas.

How to make a warranty claim

To report an issue, please email info@caitanadas.com and include:

Your order number or proof of purchase.
Clear photos of the damage.
A short description of the problem.

Once we have assessed the issue, we will confirm whether it qualifies for repair or replacement, or whether we will send you a quote.

Repairs outside the warranty

The cost of a repair depends on the condition of the piece, the underlying problem and the extent of the work required. We will send you a quote after assessing the item. The repair will only be carried out once you have expressly approved the quote.

CARING FOR YOUR PIECES

All our pieces are made in-house and assembled by hand, using high-quality materials: hard-wearing brass, glass plates with fire-polished edges and unique natural stones such as onyx, marble and granite.

Brass

All brass pieces are finished with an electrostatic lacquer cured at 180 °C. It protects the finish and keeps it shining without polishing, much like the treatment used on high-end taps and hardware. Thanks to this finish:

The brass does not tarnish.
It needs no polishing products.
It must not be polished.

Recommended cleaning:

A soft, dry cloth for everyday care.
If needed, a cloth lightly dampened with water.
Dry immediately after cleaning.

Avoid:

Harsh chemicals.
Scourers, abrasive pads or polishes.
Prolonged exposure to moisture or salty air.

Glass plates

Handle with care.
Avoid sudden changes in temperature.
Clean with mild soapy water and a soft cloth.
The plates are dishwasher-safe, but we recommend washing by hand.

Natural stone bases

Each stone is unique, with natural variations.

Clean with a damp cloth.
Avoid acidic products.
Protect from knocks.
