Each piece requires bespoke packaging. For this reason, we manufacture custom-made wooden crates for every shipment to ensure maximum protection during transport.

This is a delicate handcrafted piece that, with proper care, can last for many years. The brass has a mirror-polished finish with an oven-baked treatment that keeps it shining and means it does not need polishing. Here are a few tips to ensure its durability.

• Do not use corrosive products: When cleaning, avoid corrosive products such as solvents, alcohol or ammonia.

• Clean with a soft cloth and water or a mild soapy cleaner. Never use abrasive surfaces (a soft sponge is fine, a scouring pad is not). 

Cleaning Instructions for the Glass Plates

• Dishwasher or Hand Washing: The plates are dishwasher safe, but you can also wash them by hand. In both cases, take care to avoid hard knocks that could damage or break the glass.

• The brass piece attached to the glass plate is the only part that will eventually need polishing, when you notice the brass darkening or small dark spots appearing. Clean it with the brass polish supplied with your piece.
